Frankston's Street Art Walking Tours have won GOLD in the 2021 Australian Street Art Awards for Best Street Art Tour!

Experience this national award-winning tour which showcases over 50 murals by local and international artists which bring the city’s buildings and laneways to life. Wander the streets to discover iconic images of the Frankston’s past, relive childhood imagery and celebrate Frankston’s urban culture.

Book a Street Art Walking Tour and be taken on a deep dive guided discovery into the stories behind the artworks and their talented creators.

Please note that bookings must be made in advance. As at 29 October 2021, it is a Government directive that all attendees over the age of 16 must show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status as a condition of participation in a guided Street Art Walking Tour. 

 

Street Art Walking Tours - GOLD WINNER in the 2021 Australian Street Art Awards for Best Street Art Tour in the nation!

Take a 1.5 hour tour around Frankston's city centre and experience some of Melbourne's freshest street art.

With your hot drink in hand, visit more than 50 mammoth murals around the city centre. With pieces from renowned street art artists such as Smug, PichiAvo, DVATE, Vesod, PEETA EAD, Phat1 and Lady Diva, you will be absolutely fascinated by the stories and inspiration that are now part of Frankston's inner core.

The city centre's urban landscape began to transform with The Big Picture Fest launch in 2018, bringing some of the world's best street artists to Frankston. Painting over the course of a week, they brought a huge jolt of colour to the central core. Annually, The Big Picture Fest has brought more and more international, national and local artists to Frankston, creating an outdoor gallery of more than 50 murals for everyone to enjoy.

Tours cost only $15 per person, which includes coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Street Art Tours will be limited to small groups respecting current social distancing guidelines.

Credit card bookings can be made at discoverfrankston.com. EFTPOS and cash bookings are accepted at the Frankston Visitor Information Centre at 7N Pier Promenade on the Frankston Waterfront. 

Frankston is located within one hour of the Melbourne CBD. Street Art Tours can be easily accessed by car or public transport. The Frankston train line runs directly Flinders Street Station; the Street Art Walking Tours' starting point is a short walk from Frankston Train Station.

All within a comfortable distance starting from the Frankston Library. Be guided by very knowledgeable tour guides who explain information on each art work and the artists.
