A unique blend of contemporary urban experiences, stunning coastal scenery and hidden bushland gems, all wrapped up with unpretentious pride and quirky hospitality.
Our location is second to none. Commanding ideal centre-stage between Melbourne’s urban metropolis and the tranquil Mornington Peninsula, we are one of very few blended bush-bay cities, which continues to be a major drawcard for both sea and tree changers, Melbourne commuters and year-round visitors.

With a flourishing economy, agile business community, booming industrial sector and robust consumer demand, Frankston City
is rife with opportunity.

Be tantalised by diverse culinary treats, and award-winning distilleries nestled in quaint neighbourhood villages, iconic waterfront destinations, funky industrial warehouses or lively city centre streets.
Browse a variety of local markets, stylish boutiques, and regional shopping centres to uncover the latest trends, eclectic bargains, or locally made treasures, and be welcomed by genuine hospitality from passionate retailers.

Or simply take in one of Melbourne’s most remarkable views from the renowned Oliver’s Hill, or anywhere along the continuous foreshore from Frankston to Seaford for that matter. Frankston City’s bayside location offers uninterrupted world class views across Port Phillip to Melbourne City and the distant You Yangs, and is a popular playground for adrenalin seeking water sports enthusiasts and family beach activities.

Fun and excitement abound at the Frankston Waterfront Entertainment Precinct. Home to many of the city’s major festivals and events, you can stumble across unique artworks, burn-off energy at the award-winning adventure playground and participate in a range of water-based experiences.
For those seeking a more tranquil experience, Seaford foreshore is postcard perfect. Crystal blue water, nestled behind the tea-trees, this hidden gem is a local favourite. Quiet enjoyment is key here, as you make your way across undisturbed white sand, along the pier before stopping in at the local café to watch the waves roll in and the sun set.
