Description

Unfortunately our regular Guided Ranger walks and activities cannot proceed for the September school holidays due to COVID restrictions.

For activities to do with your family these school holidays, please print out the activity sheets below and take them to your local park/reserve or even backyard to help you explore nature close up.

Keep your eye on this page for the Guided Ranger activities during the next school holidays in January:

Come and explore some of Frankston's most popular natural attractions during the Summer school holidays. Join our local Park Ranger and be amazed by the history, native flora, fauna, geology and coastal scenery right here on our doorstep.

Cost: $5 per person or $20 per family.

What to bring: mosquito repellent, water bottle and your sense of adventure. Please wear sturdy walking shoes.

Please Note: Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted. The Guided Ranger activities may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.

Bookings can be made online, in person at the Frankston Visitor Information Centre, 7N Pier Promenade, Frankston or by phone on 1300 322 842. Bookings close 3 hours before the night time Guided Ranger activities and close in the afternoon the day before the morning activities. Email us for more information at visit@frankston.vic.gov.au

Please check our social pages or subscribe to our e-newsletter to be notified when our outdoor Guided Ranger walks are available every school holidays.

To continue your adventures after a Guided Ranger activity, you can explore our local bushland reserves with the help of our Junior Explorer Activity sheets. There are lots of ideas for things to do out in the bush and in your backyard to learn more about the environment.
