When is The Big Picture Fest?
The event will run for one week from Monday 20 March until Sunday 26 March 2023.

Key streets are Thompson Lane, Gallery Lane, Playne Street, Beach Street and White Street Mall.
Is the Block Party happening in 2023?
The Block Party certainly is returning with a fresh new line of up entertainment in store for you.
A community celebration of art and culture, food and drink. This all ages event is on Friday 24 March from 4:30 – 10pm in the Thompson Laneway.
How much will the event and activities cost?
The Block Party is free to enter and inside the event you can purchase food and drink. Award winning Street Art Tours are free during 24 – 26 March but bookings are a must.

Am I able to see the progress of street art throughout The Big Picture Fest.
Of Course! We encourage you to head out and see the artists at work as they progress with their mammoth murals, you may even be lucky enough to have a photo or chat with an artist. Please ensure you are safe around roads and laneways whenever you are out and about at The Big Picture Fest.
What road closures are there during The Big Picture Fest?
Monday 20 March from 6.00am to Sunday 26 March 5.00pm
Thompson Lane - south section partial closure. Access to Thompson Lane will be made available via Thompson Street. Access not available from Nepean Hwy.
Monday 20 March from 8.00am to Sunday 26 March 5.00pm
Park Row partial closure. Access to Park Lane via Wells Street.
Friday 24 March from 6.00am – Saturday 25 March 3.00am
Thompson Lane – closed between Thompson Lane, Nepean Hwy and Wells Street.
Friday 24 March from 12.00pm to Saturday 25 March 3.00am
Park Row and Park Lane – full laneway and parking closure.
Access to pedestrians remains throughout the Big Picture Fest and Block Party.
Can I bring my pet to the festival?
Dogs are permitted in central Frankston, provided they are on lead, registered, wearing their registration tag and you are carrying a device to clean up any dog waste. Restrictions do not apply to service animals.
Will there be security at these events?
Yes, crowd-control professionals will be monitoring the event and taking a zero-tolerance approach to unruly behaviour. Security and our Safety Officer will be monitoring compliance with our COVID Safe measures.
Is the event smoke free?
Yes, Frankston City Council events are smoke free.
