Young readers up for the challenge Supercharge your summer with the Frankston City Libraries Summer Reading Challenge. Frankston City’s Library Manager, Tammy Goodwin, said this summer, children of all ages are encouraged to get reading and explore their local library. “We challenge your child to a reading challenge with some great prizes up for grabs and a fun mini prize for completing eight of the tasks,” said Ms Goodwin. “Frankston City’s Summer Reading Challenge encourages young people of all ages to participate in reading, borrowing DVDs, spending time with family, exploring our library apps and other fun activities over the summer holidays. “At Frankston City Libraries we’re committed to improving literacy skills in our community and this program is a great example of how we’re making reading fun.” Children who complete their Summer Reading Challenge record and return it to Frankston, Seaford or Carrum Downs libraries by Friday 24 January will go into the draw to win some great prizes. Registrations are now open at all branches of Frankston City Libraries.
