The Celebration of Swing

Nostalgic, unforgettable music from the most famous big bands of the 1940s. This Concert Spectacular will feature 15 Australian musicians and singers, plus showcase two esteemed singers, Gregg Arthur and Jackie Cooper and Australia's top instrumental jazz soloists.

Musical Director, John Morrison is recognised as one of our nation's leading jazz drummers, bandleader and educators.

The concert's music repertoire will highlight the greatest Big Band hits of the 1940's, featuring the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Benny Goodman and more.

This music is still recognised after 85 years...timeless icons of our culture.
